Hi, I'm Suzy, a photographer, mentor and mom of 3. I'm so glad you're here.

Introducing to you – pluma.

Pluma is the product of much genius & creativity by my incredibly talented friend, Jennnifer Blair (remember her name because you’re going to be seeing her in the pages of Vogue Accessories one day!), and features stunning pieces that are inspired by nature and concepts including sexuality… freedom of both mind and body.  I’m definitely not a commercial photographer by any means but I’m a sucker for friends, in addition to having a weakness for beautiful jewelry, so I couldn’t say no when she came to me asking if I would do some work for the launch of her new company.  This is just a sneak peak at some of her line and as you can see there are some earrings, hair pieces, and accessories that double as both a hair clip or a piece that you can pair with anything in your wardrobe (literally! they go beautifully with hats, scarves, jackets, boots.. you name it).

Not only are Jennifer’s pieces amazing and wear really well, but I am just so proud whenever great things are happening for the people I love and I get to see them make their dreams and passions a reality.  Congratulations Jen and thank you so much to all of her wonderful friends for volunteering as models for the day! :o)

The Artist

Suzzane
brown

For nearly two decades, I’ve worked with individuals and families who understand the value of time. And the importance of preserving it well.

My work centers on creating living archives: carefully composed records of a life as it’s being lived. Not performances. Not surface moments. But the relationships, environments, and details that define a legacy.

I approach each commission with the eye of an artist and the discipline of a documentarian. Listening closely. Observing deeply. Shaping work that is meant to endure. Crafted on film, finished as heirloom objects, and designed to be held in your hands, lived with in the home, and passed down in your private family vault.

This is not photography for the present moment.

It is art made in service of memory, history, and the generations that follow.
