If you follow our blog, you may remember a certain chubby, bald and insanely adorable newborn boy that we photographed not long ago.. I first met this little guy’s parents back in summer and then met up a second time with them for a maternity session to capture life pre-baby’s arrival. It was during that period when we were having an intense heat wave and while I was nervous to bring an expecting mom out in that kind of weather, I knew that ultimately we would make it work, even if it meant hanging out at home. So when I showed up I suggested we stay at the house and hang out.. which lead to taking their silly, fun-loving pups out for a walk… which lead to heading down by the lake. Needless to say we had a lot of fun and mama remained comfortable and glowingly beautiful the entire session, so I think it’s safe to say that we beat the heat 😉 Thank you so much to this family for allowing me to share in such an amazing journey as I watched their family literally grow before me this last 6 months from belly to birth to baby.
