Babies cry, babies smile.. they want to be held close up against your skin, and eventually they start to coo..
They want snuggles from mom and feel safe in dad’s arms.. sometimes they eat every hour or less, some days they need more soothing than others..
and despite all the hard work, they always make our lives so much more joyous and bright.
Pictures of babies sleeping are pretty cute, but life with a new little one is so much more than just that.

Behind the Camera
My name is Suzy and for the last 18 years I've had the absolute honor and privilege of photographing families during their life's greatest moments in Chicago and all around the world (and I have the smile lines to prove it). I absolutely love photography, and I am extremely good at what I do. But my absolute best and most important work is being able to help people connect with their families. So they can see and appreciate of all of things that are so wonderful about their life.
