I mentioned in one of my last posts that recently three of my good friends all had babies within the same week..
This is another of those friends – Shannon and her three boys + new baby, Maetta Sue (HERE are my friend, Jenn’s newborn photos I blogged the other day).
And a few weeks after I photographed Maetta’s birth, I drove out to Iowa for some R&R time with Shannon and, well, a baby photography session of course.
These made me really happy to go through and blog today. Those close to me know that I notoriously hide out for a few days at home every now and again, and am not always good at keeping up with texts or even going out on the weekends because I’m always working on the business.. Taking photos is such an easy way for me to communicate the love I have for the people around me that I don’t always show by being present (but working on this balance in my life always as well).
Thanks so much Shannon for letting me stay at your place for a few days and even photograph these first moments of Maetta’s life..
