One time someone said they didn’t wish to book me because I obviously only shoot inside..
And much to my disappointment, I couldn’t really argue. There’s just really not that many days in the year that Chicago grants me weather where I feel comfortable taking an expecting mom or a young child outside for a family photography session. Thankfully I do get those nice days every now and again along with a super sweet and flexible, patient family willing to schedule and reschedule a few times in hopes of catching that elusive beautiful weather. Our perseverance paid off and we were able to spend a sunny (albeit windy) day in the park together.
Oh and also a big THANK YOU to my friend Candice (who has styled her own family impeccably at our photography shoots for the last few years) for helping this family style their outfits for the shoot.
