I'm Suzy of Simply by Suzy, and I'm so happy you're here at my blog because I can't wait to serve you with lots of good stuff like a peek into all of my favorite photoshoots for clients, freebies and resources on motherhood, how to get more connected with your life, and how to take beautiful pictures of it.
Remember this amazing Bump Club & Beyond family?? Earlier this year I donated a free session and package to Bump Club and Beyond for their 2011 Father’s Day Contest. Despite being nervous and anxious about finding out who we’d be working with, we were so blessed when found out we were paired up with Kristi and her family! After talking with her we decided to do a pregnancy and newborn session. After having a blast at their family/pregnancy session, I was so excited to come back and hang out with them again and meet baby Jackson (aka Jack). Things that I loved loved loved about this session:
* We were greeted for Jack’s session with bloody mary’s (how ever did they know that we LOVE a good bloody!?! ;))
* Ava is probably the coolest two year old EVER. She both rocked a rainbow brite-style look AND knows how to throw a football!
* Second reason why Ava is probably the coolest two year old ever… when we moved one of the chairs for photos we found an L wrench underneath. Ava snatched it up and dragged me to her bedroom to inform me that her rocking horse, Mr. Nate, needed to be fixed and started trying to use the tool on his screws. How she knew what the L wrench was or that it was designed to fix things I have no idea lol
* Jack slept like a rock the entire time. No joke we tried everything to get him to wake up at the end of his photos.. we poked and tickled him but he just cooed and fell right back asleep.
* He also gave the BIGGEST smiles ever 🙂
* At the end of the session we found everyone in their rooms peacefully sleeping. I wish I had taken a picture of this so you know I’m not exaggerating when I say we’re like glorified babysitters.
Anyway, I thought I’d post more than usual to show what kind of awesome stuff we love to give away to our Bump Clubbers 🙂
Thanks again Kristi and her family for being such a pleasure to work with and for allowing us to share in their joy as they grew from three to four. Really looking forward to meeting up again soon! xoxo
