Umm, yeah. I think I fell in love with this family 🙂
They are fun, silly and so sweet that once you’re within 2 blocks of their home it smells like melted chocolate (you authentic Chicagoans know exactly what neighborhood I’m talkin’ about).
Mom first won me over when she described her style to me as being simple, and that she just really wanted some natural, unposed photos of her and her favorite boys.  “You’ve come to the right woman then” I instantly exclaimed.  Looking back at the photos now I think it’s safe to say that it’s totally true.. while I absolutely will create artwork for families that they can proudly display on their walls, and even some nice posed shots, the majority of what I love and do best (I think) is create a story of your life that you can look back on decades from now and remember all the realness of your family’s love at that particular time.  I like to believe that when you book a session with me, it’s really more just hanging out and having a great time, and making new memories that you just so happen to get pretty pictures of 🙂 In this case, I totally remember how baby Ethan could not stop chewing on some of his toys because he happened to be teething a little bit, or how wild and crazy he was when we jumped in bed as all he could think about was grabbing the electronics strewn about the room, that he might be big enough to walk on his own but he still needs his mama to button up his pants for him or read him a story book..
Anyway, I had I’ll let you see for yourself just how great of a time I had with these three as I’ve included many of my favorite images below of our morning together.
To one of my new favorite families and new friends – I had a beyond fun time with you three and I cannot wait to come back and see you again soon. Thank you for the privilege of capturing your most special treasures and all of you just as you are in this moment.. wonderful, fun, silly, and beautiful XO
