I'm Suzy of Simply by Suzy, and I'm so happy you're here at my blog because I can't wait to serve you with lots of good stuff like a peek into all of my favorite photoshoots for clients, freebies and resources on motherhood, how to get more connected with your life, and how to take beautiful pictures of it.
There is the old saying, “It takes a village to raise a baby.” (or in this case, two babies)
And we often get to see the validity of this phrase when we show up for our newborn sessions with clients and – whether it’s grandma staying to help for a few weeks or a friend helping out for the day – there are often other family & friends present. A new baby certainly brings a whole community (or even just a few extra loved ones) together and Milo & Clark were no exception. When I arrived to their place for photos I got to also meet their Grandma who had been helping out mom & dad for a couple of weeks. Even more than spending time with new parents, I love meeting new grandparents – their excitement is so palpable, it’s hard not to feel it yourself.
And in lieu of that, I thought today’s session I’d focus on the family dynamic in the images I chose to share..
Anyway, I had the absolute best time in the world with this family to capture their new life with twin boys. Thanks so much again to mom & dad for inviting me out and for all of the cups of coffee you made us (Vasili and I appreciate those little gestures more than you know) XO
