I’ve been so busy with work the past few months that I haven’t had the chance to see my own friends and family as often as I would like. So in lieu of that, I’ve been trying my hardest to set time aside to spend with the people who I love the most – including one of my best friends since I was 11, her hubby and their son, Brady. I think I’ve seen Brady once in the past year and now all of a sudden he seems so grown up, I got tears in my eyes as I got out of my car and saw him pressed up against the front glass door, eagerly awaiting to greet his Auntie Suzy (I know next time to have my camera on hand before I’m even out of my car as I would have given anything capture that moment!). Since his birthday is in a month and so close to Christmas, we decided to pull out their tree a little early to do some photos of the family dressing it up with ornaments, lights and tinsel (and this is officially the first year that Brady is old enough to help decorate the tree himself!). Happy early birthday Brady, your Auntie Suzy loves you so much!

… ha and this last one has been giving me laughs and smiles all weekend long. I’m sure all of you moms out there with boys can relate to this.
