Although this family’s session was recently featured on Let the Kids’s, I loved it so much I thought what the hey, might as well share again for those of you unfamiliar with LTK (one of my favorite lifestyle family blogs by the way, and will provide you with hours upon hours of distractions from all the totally unimportant things in your life like work and reality).

Also as a side note, this session is a great reminder that gloomy, foggy mornings can sometimes prove just as beautiful as sunny, vibrant ones (and if you’re lucky, they’ll end up turning into sunny, vibrant ones half way through like this one did).

And can you believe this was in December? Yeah, neither can I.. I also can’t believe that it’s been 2 whole years since baby Maren’s home birth. I think that the photos are also a wonderful example of how important it is to find the right photographer for your family and then build a relationship with them over the years.. each time I get together with them our time spent and work produced seems to become all the more magical (says the photographer who hopes you’ll give her a call and decide to build a relationship with her and her camera).

Anyway, thank you so much Maren and your whole family for not only being totally awesome, but also for sharing your love of film photography with me, always making me feel so incredibly and utterly appreciated (the hand-knit fingerless gloves Aimee? Seriously, I love you), and for always trusting me and my vision. I’d like to think all of those things are what made these (see below) possible.
