Surprisingly, up until recently there hasn’t been any social networking opportunities for Chicago mommies and those living in the surrounding suburbs.  Thankfully, one woman decided to put an end to this and thus Bump Club Chicago was born!  If you are an expecting mama please be sure to check out the website or facebook page as you will find an abundance of information regarding important resources for you during your pregnancy and beyond (photographers, maternity stores, baby products, you name it!), and for just $75 you can join BCC’s VIP list which will give you access to exclusive discounts and more.  BCC also hosts a gazillion awesome events each month where you can connect with other mothers, some of whom may even share your due date! Speaking of pregnancy, the founder of Bump Club also happened to be an expecting mama herself and last week I had the pleasure of photographing her beautiful baby girl at just 7 days old!  I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better session – although it took a while to get her to fall fast asleep, once we did she was an absolute dream.  Even her big brother, Cooper snuck into one of her pictures LOL!  Thank you so much baby J for not peeing, pooping, puking or crying even once while we were hanging out (though even if you had I would still love you to pieces all the same!) and I can’t wait to come back and watch you grow over the next year :o)

… and then last but not least, a little ‘outtake’ I captured of my mom holding baby J nice and snug as I was preparing for my next set-up during the session.  As you can tell, we like to make sure that our subjects are happy and comfy while we are working!
