In January three of my best friends each had a baby..
This is Collin, baby numero two for one of those friends, Jenn, who I roomed with in college and also worked as an RA with on campus. Oh the memories we have together.. getting a puppy and keeping him a secret in our teeny tiny dorm room, meeting her now-husband and telling her how super cute he was and that she just had to go out on a date with him, late night drunken trips to McDonalds, and gosh darnit trying to figure out who the heck was throwing glass bottles out into the alley from some unknown dorm room above us.. (the glass bottle bandit still remains at large).
And now my college roomie is a mama of two.
Oh, and the day I went to meet him in the hospital we got a good laugh that the new nurse on duty came in to introduce herself and had to ask Jenn and I which of us gave birth. I can only hope one day my body births babies as efficiently as Jenn’s does..
