After getting to know Caroline’s mom & dad better before her arrival at their maternity photography session, I was beyond excited for her to get here! The day of her newborn photography session it was blazing hot outside (seriously it peaked at 108 on the heat index), and I think this is the first time we ever had to put the A/C on to keep it at a balmy 85 degrees.
Aside from the fact that Caroline Avery slept the entire time and didn’t make one peep, one of my favorite things about this session was mom’s style and requests. She said she loved classic-all-white so I made sure to keep the session all about Caroline strictly on a bed of neutrals. And I think there’s nothing more complimentary of the purity of a new baby than all white and cream.. (*sigh* I’m having a moment envisioning what I would do for my own future baby’s pictures.. :))
Anyway here are but some of my favorites to show you exactly how amazing my time was with these three. And as always, a huge thank you to Caroline and her parents for being such a pleasure to spend time with and allowing me the delight of capturing their new love on a hot summer day.
