A couple weeks ago Vasili and I visited this family to capture their three kiddos and new baby brother. After hanging out for a couple of hours with just baby Ryan and his mom for sleepy pics, we anxiously awaited for his two older sisters and brother to get home from school. Once home, everyone quickly changed and I had each sibling tell me all about their little brother. It was so cool to watch as each sibling had a different way of loving on their teeny tiny brother 🙂
At the end we played with their pup Scooter for a few minutes and then one last classic portrait before heading off. It was a great day and we had a blast hanging out with everyone. It’s actually not all that often Vasili and I get to work with more than one sibling or even kids older than 5, so it was a real treat for us to not only try something different but to be able to interact with so many unique little budding personalities. Thanks and congrats again, and we can’t wait to come back and see you all soon hopefully! (I told mom with how adorable her brood is, I’m for sure going to find a way to come back and see them all when Ryan is a chubby, smiley 6-8 month old ;)) XO

above: sometimes (actually often) babies just want to be snuggled up and held. None of this getting-naked-and-posing-nonsense lol

above: so simple, but one of my favorite newborn shots ever. With a sea of newborn photographers out there, I’m always excited to figure out a new pose or something different in my own work.

above: I guess it makes sense that I’ve had a lot of requests for this classic ‘foot’ shot lately, as I think there’s something so great about it for families with more older siblings.

above: ohhh this moment was so sweet. I remember it because Ryan’s older brother looked at him and almost whispered “oh you’re so cute!”

above: Scooter is very well loved 🙂

above: hugs.

above: a big THANK YOU to the kids for all being so cooperative for the more formal portraits. Seriously such well-behaved, sweet little people they were!
