(above) My sitter cancelled on me and my husband was out of town so in typical parent survival mode we made it work and my daughter, Lenni, came with me to the photoshoot.. she broke some plants, cried a bunch, and I kept having to chase after her in between shooting but it was really fun to have her tag along (though I proooooobably wont be doing it again any time soon).

Behind the Camera
My name is Suzy and for the last 18 years I've had the absolute honor and privilege of photographing families during their life's greatest moments in Chicago and all around the world (and I have the smile lines to prove it). I absolutely love photography, and I am extremely good at what I do. But my absolute best and most important work is being able to help people connect with their families. So they can see and appreciate of all of things that are so wonderful about their life.
