I'm Suzy of Simply by Suzy, and I'm so happy you're here at my blog because I can't wait to serve you with lots of good stuff like a peek into all of my favorite photoshoots for clients, freebies and resources on motherhood, how to get more connected with your life, and how to take beautiful pictures of it.
Yesterday Vasili and I officially kicked off this year’s wedding season and it was the perfect day. Vasili and I each spent time with the bride & groom as they got ready, and then joined them for their ceremony and reception at the W hotel Lakeshore here in Chicago. I can’t quite show you all the images from the wedding just yet, but wanted to share but one moment that made me smile yesterday and I’m not sure if anyone else noticed (which makes it even more fun to share!).
Normally I’m quite good at telling a story but this time I don’t know if I have any elaborate words for how adorable this moment was… lol To watch this little flower girl walk by the mirror and do a double take at her reflection, and then spend a few seconds to admire herself in the mirror was priceless. Apparently the universe shared my sentiment since interestingly enough the smudges on the mirror resembled a heart above her reflection at just the right angle 🙂
