I'm Suzy of Simply by Suzy, and I'm so happy you're here at my blog because I can't wait to serve you with lots of good stuff like a peek into all of my favorite photoshoots for clients, freebies and resources on motherhood, how to get more connected with your life, and how to take beautiful pictures of it.
If you’ve been married or photographed a wedding before, then you know that 9 times out of 10 the day never goes quite as planned. And when that happens or things are running behind schedule, usually the photos of the bride & groom are what get chopped out to make up for any delays which is such a shame because the B&G photos are by far my favorite part to any wedding album. Because of this, I’ve started encouraging my brides to just save these photos altogether for another day, whether it’s literally the day after or a couple months later. It’s also nice because you can let your hair down a bit and relax some more than you might on your actual wedding day – no schedules to keep to, no worrying about getting a smudge on your dress. Speaking of after-wedding shoots, that’s exactly what Jackie & Jim decided to do and I couldn’t have been more happy – a beautiful bride & groom + equally gorgeous sunset = magical.
