I'm Suzy of Simply by Suzy, and I'm so happy you're here at my blog because I can't wait to serve you with lots of good stuff like a peek into all of my favorite photoshoots for clients, freebies and resources on motherhood, how to get more connected with your life, and how to take beautiful pictures of it.
I got to spend the morning of my Valentine’s day witnessing the most beautiful form of love and beauty that I can possibly imagine. Although it’s an overly marketed holiday, in my opinion, I still am a sucker for love and romance so I thought I’d leave you with a quote to make you reflect on the love that’s in your life.
“Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being “in love” which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.”
-St. Augustine

I Love these…even if they were taken with a Canon 😛 All joking aside they are very interesting…I think they really capture a feel for the culture of where you were 😉 Nice work….and now I want to travel!
o.k…that comment was meant for the slideshow of India…not these….although these are beautiful and that quote touched my heart….I couldn’t agree more 😉
